I had to post this picture!

It is truly amazing when you find the one that you want to share it all with. Alex is the most amazing Dad-so gentle, tender, firm and strong. He loves his kids so much. I am truly blessed to share with him this experience of parenthood. Watching him with Aaron is one of my favorite things to do, it always amazes me. Aaron, Andy and Ashley are all so lucky to have him as their Daddy just as I am luck to have him as my husband. The day we brought Aaron home was so life changing for everyone in our family. Andy and Ashley are truly wonderful to Aaron and embraced him immediately. Their acceptance was a true blessing from God, that I know for sure.

A sweet kiss from Daddy
Our little sailor!

Our big night

Chillin in bed! That is a pillow Aya made him and one that Andy made him and my silky!

Well, won't ya know that the Meijer in GC opened today so where do you think we went after dinner...yep you guessed right. You know that you have friends that understand you when they share in your excitement. As promised here are more pictures. The boy is suffering from a runny nose and a sore butt. For some reason he either poops a ton or not at all. I am not sure what to do!! Aaron had a great day yesterday with Pa and today Grandmas picked him up and they went shopping. The boy has it made!

Bowl hat

Poor Abbie. They are the best of buds.

Good thing I keep the floor clean!

Life is so busy

It seems that there is always something to do. Every weekend there is a plan for something that is taking place. This weekend Collin goes to prom-I cannot wait to see him dressed up! Next weekend is Mother's Day, a birthday party Saturday, church on Sunday and we are getting Aaron's play set-YES!!! I guess I could keep going, but I will refrain. The summers sure are busy for us and with the kids here we try to mazimize every minute. I cannot wait to see them and go on vacation. Ahh-the memories! The pics are downloaded so I will post pictures every day this week (maybe). But hey!!! You fools need to leave me comments so I know that someone is reading this. So these are from Easter, I am a little behind-Kill me! But be assured that this is the cutest kid you will ever see!

These will have to do

I forgot our camera at Krissy's so until we get it back and Alex downloads here are a few pics from Aya's camera! I hope you are all having a blessed Sunday!

Aaron kissing Aya!
This is the new "hot spot". This creek is in between home and Grandma's. Abbie loves it too!

Mommy, Daddy and the boy!

I love these guys!

Mr. Cool in his shades getting ready to help Daddy with the lawn.

Hangin under the tree. ( I DID NOT dress him this day-those socks with tennis shoes...are you kidding me???)

It's always fun to wear Daddy's hat!

There is always a risk

Alex and Aya went to Walmart and Home Deopt tonight while Aaron and I took a nap. When we woke up we both called for "daddy" and he came upstairs stating, "close your eyes". My immediate thought was please let it be the front door that I desperately want or a hot fresh pizza and People magazine that would be a perfect end to a Saturday-it was none of the above...it was new underwear....

He actually did really good this time and there are NONE with thin straps where your hips are they are not completely from the juniors department. There is one pair in camo and one with a heart and coffee on the rump-not bad. The other ones that are not jazzy, but cute enough. And lets face it, I need underwear and the fact that they ARE NOT from Victoria's Secret and covered with face or missing fabric in certain places I will consider my belssings.

In short, I have an extremely amazing husband. I know that I am the luckiest girl to have him in my life and I Thank God for him. We do have our ups and downs, but I know that we all do. We stick together, love one another and our Faith has been the secret for us.

Kelsey's party was great. She is so cute and I cannot wait for her brother to be born. Get this name-Xander Riley-I love it, I just hope Beth caves to it for Chimy.

Well-I am off. Tomorow is Biker Sunday and I cannot wait!!!!!

unmatching jammies!!!

A few weeks ago Mom bought Aaron several sets of new pajamas. Last night he decided between the monster trucks and fire trucks and the fire trucks won! So after we got his pants on, he changed his mind and wanted to wear the monster trucks-no big deal right?
Well...not really. He wanted his first truck pants on and his monster truck shirt, I of course obliged and gave him what he wanted. But, my oh my, what a sight. I will post a picture once they are downloaded. I have a hard time handling this unmatching jammie thing!

See Miss-I told you that we have to make getting dressed fun huh?

I am at Mom's cleaning and then we are off to Kelsey's party. Tonight I am going to the Children's Place outlet-woohoo! I love it there!

I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Another week done

Well, this week has been rather busy. Our website launched Monday at work so we have been really busy and it will only be worse for a few months. There are days that I wake up and don't want to go to work, but I am so thankful that I have a job that I really do enjoy.

Our visit with Aya is going really well. Aaron is loving her so much, unless I am here and then he is glued to me which is fine by me. Little treats at the end of a day make such a big difference. She leaves on Sunday but will be back in June with Abu and Angel for Aaron's birthday party. Angel will actually be staying with us for a few weeks which will be awesome!

Alex is doing well, enjoying his Mommy being here and all that jazz. The count down is on for the kids to come in June-yippie!!!

Praise God-Billy's tests came back today perfectly clean! God is good all the time and all the time God is good! Sure wish I could do something for you non-believers out there. Until I figure out something better, I will just pray for you. Missy-I love you!!!!!

Please pray for my friend Emily and a friend that will go unnamed and also Ernie-a friend of Missy's.

Tomorrow is Kelsey Jean's birthday party so we will be attending that. I cannot wait to give her the outfit we bought her!!

A small little shout out to Jamie-Missy told me you read this so I wanted to let you know that I think of you often. I hope all is well with you and Bob and your Dad and Justin!!

I asked Alex to put the latest pictures into the computer-I don't really trust myself so I will post pictures this weekend of that gorgeuos baby of ours!

One final wish to Dana who is celebrating her 21st birthday tomorrow. We love you sweetie.

And finally, Don I love you and I miss you so much! It still doesn't seem right!

what is going on....

Today Alex and I are going to Riverdance with Elisa, Tom, Melissa and Jim. I skipped church this morning-bad!!! Alex's Mom came in on Thursday night an will be here for the week. Aaron was so excited to see her!

We helped move Krissy and Tish yesterday. Their house is really cute, it is a multi-level which I love!

I haven't been in the best of moods lately we will see what the doc says this week.

Not in the mood to write anymore, you know how to get a hold of me to talk!

Nightmare!!!!!

So I have been having a hard time sleeping. It is a struggle for me to settle my thoughts enough to really fall asleep and stay there. Last night was the worst yet. I actually had a dream that Don was still alive and we were talking about the accident and Zach. Gosh it was terrible. I hate this. I hate everything about it except that it has brought some special people into my life. I really really miss him so much.

The new normal

It all seems so strange. I am not quite sure how to put everything into words. Each day the shock gets less and the realness of this all sets in. This week I guess we are trying to adjust to our life once again, the hard thing is that its a new life. There will never be the same normal again. We are trying to focus our energy on one another during this time. Dan and Collin are part of everyday now which feels so good. There is a part of me that feels so guilty that I will forever have a big part of Don with me. However, I feel more blessed and lucky that guilty so I will get over it I'm sure.

Work was really rough yesterday, nothing went right. I hate days like those.

Please pray for Emily as she is really sick right now.

A funny story...Colleen's son Kyle got out of his crib Friday and then again on Saturday. When she went into get him Saturday morning he had taken off his pajamas and diaper and then painted his room, his crib and himself with his poop! Barf-but I love it! Once she sends me a picture I will post it.

Krissy and Tish close on the house next week-woohoo! It will be so weird to go to their house-funny when your little sister does grow up-DARN IT!
