Fancy title huh? Now too much has been going on in our world that is out of the ordinary.
Today I cut the grass while Alex and Sam put the trampoline together and then we played, had dinner, took Sam home and put Aaron to bed due to a temper tantrum. Sam is one of our Sunday School kids that we rather adore so it was nice to have him over to help. Aaron LOVES him so he was happy to see him.
At this point, I am 29 weeks. We go to the doctor tomorrow and I am hoping to find out a time for our c-section. That is if all goes well with myt blood pressure. I am not sure how well it is going to hold up, but I pray about it! It's in God's hands now baby. I have been swelling already so time will tell folks. I am at least happy that the warmer weather is here since most of my maternity clothes call for warmer temperatures. I am feeling really good other than some hip and pelvic bone pain. I do what I can to live with it and nurse it while I am at home. I try hard not to be one of those pergnant people that surround the entire things with complaints. Abbie is about to drive me to the brink of insanity at this point, but that too I will live with.
Alex is doing well. He is working on some homework right now-yuck! Last week he took the test for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department so we have been praying about that as well.
We are on the countdown for lots of things...
finishing the basement
ashley's arrival
aaron's birthday party
andy's birthday
aaron's birthday
baby's arrival
I am stressed out at work becasue I have 9 projects for the next month that need completed. I have been working on priortizing them and praying about it all. It's just been tough for me lately becasue I have my family to take care of now. I am rstricted on how many hours I can work in a day and I feel like I could be there for 10 hours every day and still not have enough time to get everything done. I am blessed to work with people who understand me and love theri family as much as I love mine. In previous jobs I didn't have that so again, God's plan is coming through.
This is a busy time for us and it really is just beginning. I am SO excited to meet this little baby and bring him or her home. Life...I am truly blessed.

A sick boy and sad, sad hearts & random pictures
Easter with Pa and Sandy
What a day it has been here at the Rodriguez house! We got up early and I made banana waffles for the crew. Ashley called and invited Mom and John over as well. We headed to the aiport and off she went...just like that. It is SO sad. I am not sure how to describe it and even worse how to describe watching your husband's heart crumble knowing there is nothing that you can do. At this point, I have learned to just suck it up for him and go about the day as normal as possible. You know how it is when you are upset the last thing you need is for everyone around you to mope, so I try to do just the opposite.
Today it was a little harder to go about out typical Saturday because Aaron is sick. We played for a bit and then pretty much vegged on the couch. He is asleep, but has been hacking his heart out poor thing.
I pray that he is better in the morning. It is so hard to watch him when he is sick. It just makes my heart break!
I pray that you all have a wonderful Easter!

Another busy weekend
It seems that we don't really get too many weekends that don't have a ton of stuff involved...
Friday night Collin and Alyssa came down for dinner and hung out. They played with Aaron and then we just sat around and talked. It just seems so natural to have them here and I love it!
Yesterday it was an early morning trip to Sam's-I love that! Then we came home, threw Aaron down for a nap, ate lunch and then headed to the airport to get Ashley. There was about 30 seconds of shyness from Aaron and she hasn't been able to get away since. She is AMAZING with him and I think that we are all really blessed to have the realtionship that we have. I have to admit that I am a pretty lucky step-mom and she and Andy are pretty lucky step kids! It all works out pretty well. She was a little shocked that my belly is so big...not sure if that is good or bad! We came home for an hour and then went to the Olive Garden for dinner with Mom and John and Aya and Abu. For some reason Aaron picked there over Red Robin-DARN IT! He ate like a champ though! Then we went to Monster Nationals and it was awesome! He was is heaven and Ashley was excited because we didn't tell her we were going until she got here. We got home late, but it was well worth it!
Today we got up for church and stopped at Starbucks on our way! A nonfat white mocha is one of Aaron's favorite things these days! He and Ashley both came to our Sunday School class today which was really cool. The kids were all wound up and chatty. After church we had lunch and then took one of our fish to the creek. He was too big and was harassing the other fish. Aaron is down for a nap, Alex is working in the yard, Ashley is hanging out with Little Banghoff and Aya is cooking dinner.
Today I am really thankful for the simpleness of life. I know that I am really blessed with my faith, my family and my friends. For some reason our small group just keeps popping into my heart today becasue I just truly feel a sense of family with them. With each passing month we grow closer and I am excited about it.
There are 2 very special women in my life that I am going to ask for silent prayers for. They are both going through really big changes and hard times and they need to be lifted up into prayer. You two know who you are-I LOVE YOU and I AM HERE-ALWAYS!
Until next time...much love to you all!
