We can pretend right?

That life isn't sad, that terrible things don't happen, that we make choices that we have to live with forever, that the day is normal even though later it will bring pain?

We are up and normal today at the Rodriguez house. I made french toast with sweet italian bread sticks (a special Ashley request) and then Andy did the dishes. There is only an hour left until we have to go to the airport. This really really sucks. It is so had on my heart and I cannot imagine the pain that Alex is feeling.
