Fun Filled Weekend

This was a busy yet relaxing weekend for us. Friday night Mamaw and Papa came over for pizza. Mom had been traveling so she was dying to see Aaron. She brought him a new pair of tennis shoes-a Granmda after my own heart. They are stricly his Buckeye shoes and are gorgeous Nike Shocks. He insisted on putting them on and was running around yelling about how fast they were. Alex headed to church for Friday Night Live around 9. This just started at our church and is a place for the high school kids to go after football games. He had a really good time, but came home with an injured finger-his wedding ring finger of all things! Saturday Pa came to visit and I took him with me and Aaron to Em's Mom's house. A perfect time of him playing with his friends and me visiting with Beck and Em. I also got to meet Tiff, Noah and David! They are just really real people and Noah is gorgeous! Last night Alex and I went to Tuttle to pick up our big family portrait and Aaron stayed here with Dad. It was nice just to talk around the mall and hold his hand. I love, love, love my husband. He was ever so patient while I shopped Bogo and tried on dresses. Man, I am so blessed! Thank you Lord for all you have given to me. I am ever so grateful to you!

Today was church and our first class and it went really well. We then headed over to meet Xander and he is perfect in every way. I cannot believe he is finally here-it seems that Beth was pregnant forever. After that it was to Krissy's and Alex played some Wii and then they came over for dinner. Now...its bedtime! See the pics below!

I LOVE this picture of Aaron and Hannah. It is just so raw and shows how amazing they are when they are just playing together.
When we got back from the mall this is what we found on the couch! Aaron loves his Pa!
Please meet Xander Allen! It is amazing how small they are and you cannot help but fall in love. I pray that we are part of his life forever and ever.
This is Kelsey holding her little brother who she is quite smitten with. I think she is going to be an amazing big sister...once the novelty wears off!
Can you believe the happy look on my husbands face? That look is exactly why I don't want a game system in our house. Thank you Krissy and Tish for having all the necessities for Alex to get his game fix-AT YOUR HOUSE!!!
This is Krissy trying to teach Aaron to hang upside down on Daddy's legs-not much luck!Out little monkey-he comes complete with noises!
Sorry the pic is the wrong way. This is Tiff's husband. I took this picture to show Alex because we love tattoos in our house and this was the most amazing thing I have seen in a LONG time. I cannot wait to see the finished product. David is a war hero and that my friends is a true statement. Thank youDavid for your service!
Aaron was rather into Beck. He was truly smitten with her to be honest. When we left he asked her if he could give her a hug. Too bad she's already married!
Aaron and Noah-did I really let my baby play without his shirt???

Hi Amy! It was great to meet you too. You can come and read my blog anytime, and I'm thrilled to add yours to my daily blog list.

Thanks for the shout out, re: Charlie's shirt. Sloppy job, yes, but it did what I needed it to! :)

And it's perfectly cool to post David's tattoo. As you might have guessed already, he is NOT shy, and he LOVES to show off those tats. God love him...

Great pictures, I guess they will have to do for now since I don't get to see the real thing this weekend, but hopefully real soon!
Love,
